J. W. Maucker, president, has accepted an invitation to become a member of the Iowa Commission on Teacher Education and Professional Standards

The commission's invitation was extended recently by Secretary J. E. Bicknell, Des Moines. The commission, which includes about 30 Iowa educators, has published a series of booklets on school standards.
