UNI-CUE helps "Discover the Dream"

The university's Center for Urban Education (UNI-CUE) has developed the Discover the Dream mentoring program to help fifth grade students prepare for middle school. Sixth-grade students in UNI-CUE's Leadership Academy will be mentors; schools involved include Lincoln, Highland and Walter Cunningham. Students must be part of Educational Talent Search (ETS), a program that includes many activities and mentoring from UNI students from the Black Student Union (BSU), Center for Multicultural Education (CME), and Hispanic/Latino Student Union; photo.
