Article Summary | The TheatreUNI performed 'Cabaret' at Strayer-Wood Theatre. It was an excellent performance and was made even more so by the wonderful performances by Noak Hynick, Erika Bailey, Thayne Lamb, Abigail Chagolla, and Andrew Oleson, the leads of the show. Show director Amy Osatinski chose this musical because she thought there were themes from it that could be related to the current world troubles. At the end of the musical, she highlighted this when the audience members left they have ushered down a hallway filled with Nazi imagery from fascist Germany and pictures of antisemitism in the United States from the last few years. The show was well-received. |
