3/2/2020 The ninth annual UNI Dance Marathon event was held in Maucker Union and raised a total $522,136.09 to fund pediatric epilepsy research: photo. Nathan and Beth Tross of Highland Park, Illinois matched the funs raised to bring the total amount to 1,044,272.

12/12/2019 "SingPins A Cappella" is the first alumn released by UNI campus organization SingPins, a small auditioned ensemble within Men's Glee Club. The record includes 10 tracks, both live performances and studio performance amassed between the years 2017-2019. Mitchell claims she thoroughly enjoyed the album. "I think it is a must-buy in the name of Panther Pride and enjoyment of the musical experience," The UNI community should be very proud to have a group as talented as the SingPins on campus; photo.

11/4/2019 Alpha Psi Omega overtook the Strayer-Wood Theater for the annual midnight showing of 'Rocky Horror Picture Show.' Admission was a $3 fee or three canned goods to be donated to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. The annual "auction of the virgins" was held and the Time Warp dance was performed multiple times by the excited crowd; photo.

It is a gospel album, something not expected of the rapper/songwriter and lacks when compared to other music both in the genre and other Kanye West works. Mitchell gave it 3/5 paw prints.

Black Student Union (BSU) members and non-members danced and sang to celebrate the kickoff event of the first of 13 BSU-sponsored events to be held in honor of Black History Month his year. These free, open-to-the-public activities include talks and seminars, art and poetry, open mics, a skate party, a royalty competition and more.
