4/8/2019 A mastodon tusk found by a man in Hampton, Iowa in the early 1900s was later donated to the UNI Museum in 1934. After undergoing conservation beginning in 2014, the tusk as of April 2 is on display as part of the museum's exhibits in Rod Library; photo.

9/28/2017 The UNI Museum displayed the works of Herb Hake on September 24. Hake was an artist as well as a radio broadcaster at UNI. The event displayed some of his works as well as student artists who attempted to recreate his style by creating caricatures of staff and students; photo.
