UNI Museum unveils mastodon tusk

A mastodon tusk found by a man in Hampton, Iowa in the early 1900s was later donated to the UNI Museum in 1934. After undergoing conservation beginning in 2014, the tusk as of April 2 is on display as part of the museum's exhibits in Rod Library; photo.
