4/5/2013 As a part of Pride Week, Mr. John Hopkins came to speak about his discharge from the military as a result of his homosexuality. Many of the audience members were surprised to hear that he was not mad at the military for discharging him.

2/22/2013 Mark Edward, a mentalist, gave a presentation for Darwin Week. He spoke of the need to be skeptical of psychics. Mark Edward asked students to challenge things like this and to be skeptical of psychics.
8 Panther Plot to provide new opportunities to students

2/22/2013 Students have started a new organization entitled Panther Plot Student Garden. This will allow students to create and tend to a community garden here at UNI.
9 UNI's Professor Hill addresses homosexuality in the Bible

2/15/2013 Professor Susan Hill gave a lecture about how the Bible addresses homosexuality. The title of her lecture was, "Homosexuality and the Bible: It's Complicated". Fellow Professor Thomas Hesse said the presentation was very informative.
