UNI's women's tennis team finished their fall season with five top-three finishers at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.
8 Medlin shines at UNI Invite

Just short of winning the championship, UNI women's tennis player, Erica Medlin, took second place in the UNI Invite. The Panthers will travel to St. Louis for the MVC Individuals Tournament, which starts on October 4.

Says college athletes should get paid more money by their universities because they bring in so much money for the university. Athletes receive scholarships, but they should receive more.

UNI women's soccer suffered two losses over the weekend. They were defeated by Nebraska-Omaha and Western Illinois University. This gives the Panthers a 1-5 record. The next time they play will be against South Dakota State University at home.

UNI softball lost to Iowa, as well as Illinois State this weekend. The Panthers were able to win one game out of the three game series against Illinois State. This dropped their record to 11-8 in conference play.
