UNI Proud was awarded the Best Gay-Straight Alliance Award by the Iowa Pride Network for the second time in three years. The annual award is given to the college LGBT groups deemed the best at raising awareness about LGBT issues.

The grand opening of the College Hill Farmers Market took place on June 6. The market will be open Thursdays from 4-6 p.m. every week until October. There will be different vendors and products throughout the summer.
