66 Lowell Carver Accepted a position as coach in Wellman, Iowa. While at the College, he was president of the Wesley Foundation, vice president of the Minnesinger Glee Club, a member of Lambda Gamma Nu and Phi Tau Theta fraternities.
67 Martha Jennings Kindergarten and primary teacher in Wellman, Iowa. She has been teaching there for the past four years. She was a member of Kappa Theta Psi Sorority while a student at the College.
68 Mary D. Reed Has been supervisor of third and fourth grade, in the Course of Study Department at Los Angeles, California; will fill the place left vacant by Frances Dearborn as professor of primary education.
69 Mr. Hans Holst Anderson Assistant professor of English at the A. & M. College at Stillwater, Oklahoma. He received the Ph. D. degree at the University of Chicago last summer. His wife, the former Pauline Waits received the bachelor of arts degree in 1924.
70 Mrs. A. H. Hoffman Has been recently appointed vice chairman of the National Rehabilitation Committee of the American Legion Auxiliary. She presented the Christmas program at the annual conference of presidents and secretaries in December.
71 Mrs. Frank W. Hicks The former Elsie I. Arnold of Minot, North Dakota, visited Dr. Seerley, president-emeritus of the College, on the way to Iowa State College at Ames, Iowa, where her son is attending college this year.
72 Mrs. W. E. Fisher The former Lillian B. Daniels, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who taught for a number of years at the College after graduation, is now traveling agent for the American Fruit Industries and lectures on foods in public schools, before clubs and organizations.
73 Vivian Brady Instructor in mathematics at Stronghurst, Illinois. She is also attending Saturday classes at the University of Iowa in order to receive credits toward a master of arts degree.
74 William E. Iblings Iblings has accepted a position as instructor in the Commercial subjects at one of the high schools at Cincinnati, Ohio. He formerly taught commercial subjects at Madison, Illinois.
75 Wilma Smith Teaching public school music at Newhall, Iowa. While a student at the College, she was a member of the Bel Canto Glee Club, Hamilton Club, and V. O. V. sorority.

82 Etta B. Fluke and Ella Fluke Ella is registrar and teacher of English in the University of New Orleans in Louisiana. Last year she taught Bible study in Rust College in Hollis Springs, Mississippi. In 1929 she received a master's degree from Northwestern University.
83 George R. Kramer, Jr. Formerly secretary of the Y. M. C. A. at Fort Dodge, Iowa; now life insurance agent at Fort Dodge.
84 Glover B. Ferrell Superintendent of schools at Oelwein, Iowa; elected president of school superintendents and high school principals at the 37th Annual Convention of the Northeast Iowa State Teachers Association at Cedar Rapids in October.
85 J. W. Jarnagin Member of the Board of Directors of the Iowa State Normal School, 1886-1892; was a delegate to the district meeting of the Kiwanis Club at Waterloo, Iowa. He operates a weekly news service for country newspapers in Iowa.
86 Lelah Trowbridge County superintendent in Wayne County, Iowa; visited the College; arriving for extension service in history for the rural schools of her county and also for the Saturday study center service applied to the teaching of language in the schools.

96 Mrs. Frank M. Swasey The former Nelle Runyon of Berkeley, California, visited her cousin, Mrs. Henry Clay, and family, and her son, Joseph B. Clay, president of Clay Equipment Corporation, and wife, formerly Grace Hovelson.
97 Mrs. J. W. Wolever The former Martha J. Dawson taught at Purdue University in the Department of Physical Education during the past summer. She has accepted a position as part-time secretary in the student Y. W. C. A. at the University.

Richard is the son of Austin Burt, formerly Mary E. Bartlett, and the nephew of Will A. Bartlett and Elmer E. Bartlett, and the grandson of late Professor Moses Willard Bartlett.
110 Olga Miller The daughter of George Miller, of Norway, married Dr. D. S. Challed, son of C. W. Challed, of Cedar Rapids. Olga has been teaching kindergarten since her graduation. He is a first lieutenant in the medical reserve.

118 Dwight Williams Julia Porter, of Grinnell, Iowa, married Dwight Williams at Charles City, Iowa. They will reside at Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he is employed with the Real Silk Company.

141 Cornelia Norton Died at her home in Marshalltown, Iowa, October 19. She was the only daughter of J. E. Norton of Marshalltown. She is also survived by a brother, John, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Cornelia was an art teacher in Marshalltown.
142 Dr. Grover H. Alderman Dean of the College of Education at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died November 28 at the age of 44. One of the most outstanding alumni of the College, he was born in Story County in 1886, and was raised in this state.
143 Edward H. Cunningham Member of the Federal Reserve Board died of heart disease while at his desk in the United States Treasury Building. He was appointed a member of the Federal Reserve Board by President Harding in 1923.
144 Mrs. Arthur C. Cole The former Clara Wakefield, of Adel, Iowa, died at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, On June 27, 1930. For the past few years she and her husband have been conducting an abstract business in Adel, Iowa.
145 Mrs. C. W. Anderson, Ruth Popejoy, Lucille Popejoy, Keith Popejoy, and Paul Popejoy Mrs. I. M. Popejoy died June 16, 1930 at York, Nebraska, where her daughter Maude Anderson resides. Ruth is in Quito, Ecuador, Lucille is a nurse at the Omaha City Mission; Keith and Paul are both band instructors at Cresco and Marion, Iowa.
146 Mrs. Donald Sutherland The former Beatrice Decker died in September, 1930. She is survived by her husband and two sons at Monticello, Iowa, where her funeral services were held. She taught school for about two years at Monticello prior to her marriage.
147 Mrs. Gertrude M. Way The wife of Cecil F. Way, died November 28, 1930, at Eldora, Iowa. Cecil and a child of one month survive Gertrude. Cecil has been in the automobile business at Eldora, and at one time was employed as superintendent of schools in Iowa.
148 Mrs. James Fields and Mrs. H. E. Peterson J. J. Auld, father of Bertha Auld (James Fields), and Jennie Auld (H. E. Peterson), died August 29, at the home of Dr. Peterson at Granite Falls, Minnesota, after suffering for two years as a result of a stroke. Auld had invented a voting machine.
149 Vernard R. Roderick Died on February 11, 1930, at Nashville, Tennessee, where he was employed by the Apex Oil Corporation as accountant and credit manager. He is survived by his wife and two small sons. He was buried at Waterloo, Iowa.
