1 Honor bids were sent to 41 women by Purple Arrow Members were chosen based on scholarship and activity accomplishment. Initiation of the new members will be at a dinner in the college Commons on Thursday, May 24. Names of new members.
2 James Curtis was elected president of the newly formed Men's Union. Names of officers and two representative from each class. The Men's Union will function somewhat like the Women's League, assisting in promoting all-college events.
3 Schoolteacher studies Spanish by correspondence with the extension division of the college. Ruth Popejoy is a schoolteacher who is now employed in a mission school in Quito, Ecuador. She is farther away than anyone now enrolled.
4 The baseball team will travel to Fayette Wednesday to meet the Upper Iowa ball club. Don Blanchard will be out for this game because of an injury. His injury will cause a shift in the infield line-up.
