2 General Clay's Freedom Campaign Gets Teachers College Support Freedom Scroll signatures and contributions for General Lucius D. Clay's "National Crusade for Freedom" will be solicited next week. General Clay is the former commander of the American occupation zone in Berlin, Germany.
3 Gross, Babcock to talk at Teachers College H. R. Gross, Republican third district representative from Waterloo, and his Democrat opponent, Jim Babcock, New Hampton, in the Nov. 7 election will speak Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. The meeting, sponsored by campus Speech Activities is free.
4 Home Economists to meet at Teachers College The national president is Florence Fallgatter, head of home economics education at Iowa State College. A dinner in the Commons and greetings from Fallgatter will open the meeting. Ruth Allen will give a word-and-picture report.
