1 Findings on the recent National Conference on the Mobilization of Health, Physical Education and Recreation will be disclosed Thursday, March 29 Nearby college and public school representatives have been invited to hear Rachel Bryant, Washington D. C., present conference findings and recommendations. The conference was the third of a series on the mobilization of education.
2 ISTC will know ROTC action in April President J. W. Maucker said the announcement date was included in a defense department letter from Major General Earl S. Hoage, special assistant to the chief of staff for reserve forces.
3 The weekend blizzards knocked out the annual three-day spring tour of the concert band Director David Kennedy said he was trying to reschedule to tour for "the latter part of April." A between-quarters vacation started last Friday and the band members remained on campus until Sunday in the hope the tour would start.
4 Two vocalists and a pianist will present the first senior recital of the spring quarter Monday, March 26 Pianist Nadine Suck, Garrison, will appear first with three selections. Five songs will be sung by Soprano Roselyn Attig of Renwick. The recital will end with two songs by Baritone Carl Hansen. Songs and selections listed.
