Woodcock, will receive a citation and plaque for his state and national efforts in the promotion of driver education Woodcock has promoted driver education in colleges and high schools and will received the plaque and citation during the 39th National Safety Congress and Exposition in Chicago on Oct. 11, presented by Stephen James.
2 Dr. Allen G. Wehrli, professor of Old Testament, language and literature at Eden Theological seminary of St. Louis, will be the guest at chapel Wehrli will be the guest at chapel services Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10:30 a.m. in the college auditorium. He has served at the Eden Theological seminary since 1922. Prior to that time, he was a pastor in Portland, Oregon, from 1916-1920.
3 Jerry Robinson, Des Moines, has been elected to the inter-fraternity council at the college Robinson will represent Sigma Tau Gamma, national social fraternity, on the council. The inter-fraternity countil is the co-ordinating body for the four fraternities on campus.

15 The first music department faculty recital of the 1951-52 season will be held Sunday, October 14 at 8:15 p.m. The recital will feature soprano Jane Birkhead and bass-baritone Harald Holst. Jvone L. Maxwell of the music department will be the accompanist. Birkhead and Holst gave a concert this summer at Nantucket Island, Massachusetts.

17 Waterloo Daily Courier Joanne Carroll, Waterloo, has been elected vice president of Pi Phi Omega, local social sorority at the college. Carroll is a junior art major at the college.
