1 "Hedda Gabler," one of Henrik Ibsen's greatest dramas, has been selected for the winter play "Hedda Gabler," written in 1890, was in a sense a major qualification of Ibsen's previous championship of the "new woman." This is implicit in the story of Hedda and has resulted in one of the most rounded characterizations of modern drama.

5 Special To: Eagle Grove Eagle Lois Lister, Eagle Grove, has been elected secretary-treasurer of Bartlett Hall at the college. Lister is a freshman student and is enrolled on a two-year kindergarten-primary curriculum.
6 Special To: Kossuth County Advance Jo Sernett, Algona, has been elected president of Bartlett Hall. She assumed her duties at the beginning of winter quarter. Sernett is a freshman student on a two-year kindergarten-primary curriculum.
7 Special To: Spirit Lake Beacon Regina Kiger, Spirit Lake, has been elected vice-president and chairman of the social regulations board. Kiger, a freshman student, is enrolled on a two-year kindergarten primary curriculum.
8 Special to: The Cedar Falls Record Don Peters, senior student from Marcus, is the most eligible bachelor at the college. Peters was chosen by the Association of Women Students board and the dance committee.

10 Special To: Waterloo Daily Courier Jim Rasmussen, Waterloo, has been elected to the Interfraternity Council. He will represent Lambda Gamma Nu, local social fraternity. The council coordinates the activities of the four social fraternities on campus. Rasmussen is a senior student.
