1	Community shorthand class offered by ISTC	Kenneth L. Hansen instructs a course in shorthand at Sabin Hall. Registration may be completed at the first class meeting, or by contacting Professor Ray Schlicher of Extension Services.
2	Iowa Editors' Conference meets at ISTC	Professor Arthur Sanderson opens the Iowa Editor's Conference on campus with his speech titled, "The Role of the Newspaper Editor in Relation to the College Community". The conference is hosted by Alpha Phi Gamma.
3	ISTC Band Day registration complete	Band Day activities are postponed to coincide with Dad's Day activities at the ISTC-Drake football game. Over one-thousand high school band members are to perform at halftime.
4	National Association recognizes ISTC Extension Services	Extension Services is welcomed into the National University Extension Association with full membership. Professor Raymond Schlicher acts as director of I. S. T. C.'s Extension Services.
