1	"The Strange World of Ionesco" to be seen at ISTC	Three of Romanian playwright, Eugene Ionesco's works are to be produced at the Studio Theatre. Each play is directed by Stanley Wood, of the department of theatre.
2	Iranian educator visits ISTC	Touran Ilkhan-Bakhtiari visits the Teachers College through the Foreign Specialists Program. Bakhtiari studied methods of teacher training, and attended the United Nations Conference where she met with Esfandiar Sattari and Houshang Bozorgzadeh.
3	ISTC business professor edits magazine	Professor Agnes Lebeda is assigned as one of the editors for the Business Education Forum. The magazine is a publication of the United Business Education Association.
4	ISTC staff member honored by National Safety Council	Ivan L. Eland is recognized for his service in the field of safety education at the National Safety Council Conference.
5	ISTC students will attend Graduate Day at ISU	Josephine Yeager accompanies five Theta Theta Epsilon members to the Iowa State University's Graduate Day. Theta Theta Epsilon initiates seven new members.
6	Librarians convene for conference at ISTC	Librarians from across eighteen states attend the Conference on Undergraduate Library Education. Professor Donald O. Rod acts as chairman for the conference, which is sponsored by a grant from the American Library Association.
7	Local student on ISTC's planning committee	Students are selected for placement on the Fall High School Discussion Conference committee. Professor Patricia Townsend directs the conference, where Professors Leland Sage, Erma Plaehn, and George Poage will sit on a discussion panel.
