1 Business leaders convention set at ISTC Julia Pedelty and Rod Dixon represent the Teachers College in the Future Business Leaders of America annual state convention, sponsored by the Phi Beta Lambda chapter of the FBLA.
2 ISTC proposes non-discrimination housing policy President Maucker proposes a non-discriminatory off-campus renting policy to householders. The policy is endorsed by the Faculty Senate and student government, and would restrict home owners from refusing renters based on race, creed, or nationality.
3 ISTC spring play announced Stanley Wood directs a lyrical production of the American Civil War themed play, "John Brown's Body". Choral music will be performed by the A Cappella Choir, conducted by Charles Matheson.
4 Richard Sorenson wins graduate fellowship Richard Sorenson is the recipient of the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship. Sorenson is active in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, marching band, concert band, symphony orchestra, chamber band, and the brass ensemble.
