1 Book exhibit to be held at SCI The Iowa Bookmen's Association and the department of education and psychology sponsor an exhibit of textbooks for the classroom in the auditorium, followed by lectures explaining their teaching applications in the Gilchrist Chapel.
2 Christian Science Monitor News Bureau chief to speak at SCI Christian Science Monitor Central News Bureau chief, Godfrey Sperling, Jr., is scheduled to speak at the State College for the Lecture-Concert Series. The lecture is open to the public, free of charge.
3 Dr. Brimm speaks to Phi Delta Kappas Malcolm Price Laboraotry School principal, Professor Paul Brimm, appears at the Phi Delta Kappa smoker held in the Lab School basement. Brimm spoke on the imbalance placed on education through our focus on national defense.
4 Local educators and civic leaders to attend SCI workshop The State College and Iowa State Education Association co-sponsor the School Public Relations Workshop, where one-hundred and twenty educators and civic leaders are to discuss trends and problems in education. Participants listed.
5 SCI schedules Aerospace Day The State College plans "Aerospace Education Day", featuring a luncheon in the commons, and a panel discussion including Professors Raymond Schlicher, Herman Nelson, Donald Howard, and Leland Hott.
