1 'Communication' theme for UNI's 23rd annual workshop for educational office personnel The keynote address, given by Routh, is entitled "Communicating with Odd Ducks;" there will also be a panel focusing on secretarial careers called "Communicating on the Job".
2 Maucker Union art gallery displaying watercolors by Vermont, New Hampshire artists The traveling exhibition is entitled "The Vermont/New Hampshire Artists group;" most of the works are for sale.
3 Seven awarded UNI's Nellie Dickey Scholarships The awards are granted by the Department of Home Economics; the scholarship amounts range from $600 to $1200.
4 UNI professor awarded medal for outstanding service by French Prime Minister Walther, an assistant professor of French, received the "Palmes Academiques" award which is one of the oldest French decorative awards created by Napoleon in 1808; he will officially receive the award on a visit to France.
