4 UNI economics club to sponsor speech by Iowa Development Commission Deputy Tom Jolas says that "The mission of the North Iowa Development Commission is to enhance the economic and human progress of Iowa through the development, promotion, and marketing of its people, products and resources".
5 UNI student wins statewide research paper contest Camarigg, a senior sociology major, won the Manford Kuhn Award for her research paper "A Contrast/Comparison of Anti-Pornography Attitudes" at the annual Iowa Sociological Association meeting held at the University of Iowa.
