The dinner featured strolling minstrels, a recorder trio, a string quintet, and a vocal mixed quartet. All music was performed by the Northern Iowa High School. |
| 2 | UNI Lab School to co-sponsor trip to France for High School Students | Forty-five Iowa high school French teachers and students departed on a three-week trip to France through the Vistas in Education travel program, directed by Professor James Becker. Eligible students must have had two years of French to participate. |
| 3 | UNI's Individual Events team places second in Minnesota Invitational | Two of eight members of the Individual Events team were awarded individual sweepstakes awards in the Minnesota Invitational. The team competed in forms of public speaking and dramatic interpretation. Students were accompanied by four faculty members. |
