1 Janice M. Clark Memorial Scholarship Students demonstrating skill in rural planning and land use analysis with a grand point average of at least 3.0 may apply for the two-hundred dollar Janice M. Clark Scholarship.
2 Lux Service Medallion nominations taken for outsanding UNI service by students Students, faculty, and staff nominate candidates for the Lux Service Medallion. The award is for students who display leadership and character. Nominees must hold a grand point average of 3.0 and have completed forty hours of credit.
3 UNI debate team places near top in national honorary conference contests; UNI president honored Professor Neil Phillips accompanies two debate teams to the Delta Sigma Rho/Tau Kappa Alpha debate conferences. Two students won forth place at the conference, and President Curris was awarded with the Distinguished Alumnus.
4 UNI to hold Women's Awareness Week activities March 23-27 Discussions on politics on the workplace, assertiveness, sexual assault, and harrassment were held in Maucker Union for Women's Awareness Week. Speakers include faculty members and students.
5 UNI to offer moped license certification course March 30-31 Professor Ivan Eland instructs a course for moped operator certification. Participants must pass a written test and complete classroom instruction to receive their moped license.
