1	Summer Institute for Foreign Language Teachers at UNI to hear Sen. Paul Simon Tuesday (July 14), on importance of foreign language proficiency	Senator Paul Simon, and Professors Jacques Dubois, Robert Krueger, Raul Munoz, and George Zucker speak at the Summer Institute for Foreign Language Teachers. The conference is designed to aid instructors in developing teaching strategies in their field.
2	UNI forensics program has another successful year	The individual events forensics team places nineteenth in the nation, after emerging victorious from two-hundred competitions. The team was coached by communication and debate faculty members; Mary Renz, Neil Phillips, and Bill Henderson.
3	UNI resident assistants named for 1987-88	Ninety resident assistants are named for the 1987-88 academic year. Resident assitants are trained in emergency first aid, and advising in social and academic concernts. Includes a list of new RA's.
