2	Former student recalls one-room school that's coming to University of Northern Iowa	Constantine Curris officially accepts the moving of the Pocahontas County schoolhouse to UNI campus. Lawrence Hanisch recalls his experiences as both a student and teacher at the one-room school.
3	UNI individual events team off to a good start	The individual events team takes second place in the Mid-America Forensics League competition at Loras College. The team was accompanied by Professors Bill Henderson, Richard West, and Mary Ann Renz.
4	UNI prof elected president of MAFL	Professor Mary Ann Renz replaces Richard West as president of the Mid-America Forensics League after her election to the position at the Individual Events Tournament at Loras College. Professor Bill Henderson continues his duties as vice president.
5	UNI students will study in Austria as part of intensive German program	Professor Karl Odwarka leads a group of UNI students to Austria to study at the University of Austria. Participants must belong to German I or II, be pursuing a German minor, or have background in the German language. The program is worth nineteen hours.
