2 Donna Thompson named new women's studies director at the University of Northern Iowa Professor Donna Thompson is named director of the Women's Studies Program of the department of physical education. The program focuses on women's issues throughout history, and is supervised by the dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
