1 Bulb seminar to be offered at Northern Iowa Seminar topics to include bulbs in containers, as house plants, forcing for winter blooms and landscaping with bulbs. Seminar instructor is Leila George, a member of the Iowa Nurseryman's association.

8 Under the big top is 1988 Northern Iowa Homecoming theme. Traditional activities will include window painting, campaniling, Homecoming dance and parade, and a pep rally to feature Coach Earle Bruce and the UNI Panther Football team. UNI will play Western Illinois University Leathernecks.
9 University of Northern Iowa groups to sponsor comedy and magic shows week of Sept. 5. Harry Milkee a comedian from Flordia will perform, Mark Pittman will also perform magic.
