1 British team to debate at University of Northern Iowa Wednesday (Oct. 19) British debaters will split with Northern Iowa's top ranked Aaron Hawbaker and Ken Schuler, to have an American and British team member on each side of the issue: "Resolved: This House would plant a Bush in the Greenhouse, not in the White House."
2 Camarata Northern Iowa Members experience advanced string ensemble playing. Members of the select Camarata Northern Iowa have a forum for advanced ensemble playing using the concepts of the Baroque camerata and the conductorless European camber orchestra. Members of the Camarata listed.
3 Iowa public officals and Northern Iowa faculty and staff join UNI students in Operation 6-PACC, Oct. 16-22. Public officals who have signed a 6-PACC contract are: Gov. Terry Branstad, State Sen. 5 Study conducted by two University of Northern Iowa marketing professors reveal Iowa firms should spend more time on marketing. Study revealed although 62 percent of the executives surveyed ranked marketing number one or two on a five point scale of importance, in terms of time spent actually supervising the marketing function, only 16 percent of the executives indicated important
