1 1988 Old Gold yearbook at University of Northern Iowa earns first class rating. According to the evaluation guidebook, a mark of distinction is awared for "liveliness, appeal, personality, imagination and creativity in a publication." Photograph captions were awared a perfect score.
2 A second University of Northern Iowa Radio News Network phone line is in operation. The installation of the second line will give you an alternative to our in-state WATS line. This will also provide out-of-state callers a direct lone to the story.
3 New computer enables Northern Iowa students to receive new perspective on body motion. Nancy Hamilton uses the University's new Peak Performance 2D Video/Computer Motion Analysis System to analyze the running style of Florance Griffith-Joyner, the U.S. women's 200 meter gold medalist.
4 New computer enables Northern Iowa stuents to receive new perspective on body motion. The Peak Performance 2D Video/Computer Motion Analysis System, obtained through the assistance of a grant from the National Science Foundation, is helping students study kinesiology.
5 University of Northern Iowa commencement to be at 1 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 17. President Constantine Curris will confer degrees on the students, who will include four doctor of education recipients.
