1 Chinese dignitary, hosted by UNI, to discuss commerce and exchange possibilities. Wei Shanmei will be spending two weeks in Iowa meeting with government, business, agriculture and university leaders in order to discuss possible trade and exchange between Iowa and Guangxi.
2 First place sweepstakes win at MAFL #4 for University of Northern Iowa's individual events team. Venessa Kuhlmann had two first place finishes in after dinner speaking and communication analysis. James O'Connor first in both impromptu and informative speaking and third in extemporaneous speaking. Ryan Siskow was third in communication analysis.

5 University of Northern Iowa Counseling Center offers Noon Lunches for Nontraditional Students. These lunches are informal gatherings to get acquainted with other older students attending UNI. The Counseling Program helps nontraditional students make the sometimes difficult step of continuing their education.
