1 Four University of Northern Iowa students to spend summer in the Soviet Union. After hosting seven Soviet students and a faculty member during the spring semster, the University of Northern Iowa is sending four students to study in the Soviet Union as part of the American Council of Teachers of Russian Summer Language Program.
2 Iowa American Legion auxiliary girls state to begin 44th year of activities at University of Northern Iowa Saturday (June 10) More than 300 high school girls from around the state will learn about the workings of Iowa government, including how to file nomination papers, campaign for office and set up party platforms.
