4 Highly-acclaimed African American dance troupe from Chicago to perform Friday (Feb. 16) at University of Northern Iowa; part of black history month. The Muntu Dance Company of Chicago, 17 dancers and musicians performing traditional African, American and Caribbean dance. The Muntu Dance Company which takes its name from the Bantu word meaning "essence of humanity," was formed in 1972.

6 Women's history month to be marked by music, drama and discussion at University of Northern Iowa Feb. 21 - March 19. A production of "Letters Home" based on poet Sylvia Plath's letters to her mother. "Women Composers Concert" will feature the award winning Montclaire String Quartet. Angeleita Floyd on flute and Marleta Matheson on piano will perform.
