6 Waste oil from filters can be recycled: pilot project in Iowa Falls coordinated by Iowa waste reduction center and Iowa Valley community college The Iowa Waste Reduction Center is working with Iowa Valley Community College District to conduct an Oil Filter Recycling Project. Collected oil filters will be crushed in a hydraulic press to squeeze out the oil. It will be cleaned and recycled.
