1	"CONTAG '90" at University of Northern Iowa July 22-27 to address issues concerning the talented and gifted.	The conference is planned to meet the needs of teachers, counselors, administrators and parents in understanding gifted children and managing their educational opportunities.
2	Dubuque junior at University of Northern Iowa wins physical therapy scholarship.	Julie Meyers recently was named recipient of the Agape Physical Therapy Scholarship. The scholarship of $500 is awarded to one student a year by the Agape Clinic on the basis of academic achievement, need and service.
3	Iowa City businesses ready to recycle, pay more for safe landfills; survey conducted by Iowa waste reduction center at University of Northern Iowa.	The Chamber members initiated the survey because of their recognition of potential problems associated with solid waste disposal. The decided it was important to survey area businesses about their attitudes toward waste disposal.
