1 UNI New Horizons Band to present spring concert The New Horizons Band will perform a spring concert in the Great Hall of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. The concert will feature selections from "The Wizard of Oz" and New Horizons Band version of "Blue Tango" by Leroy Anderson.
2 UNI Pi Sigma Epsilon students garner four awards at national competition Students from UNI's Chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE), an organization for students pursuing marketing, sales management, and personal selling carreers, received four awards at the National PSE Convention.
3 UNI students in counselor education achieve 100 percent pass rate on national exam The Center for Credentialing & Education released results showing UNI counselor education program had a 100 percent pass rate on the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) in fall 2007 and spring 2008.
4 UNI Wellness & Recreation Services offers students a chance to de-stress De-Stress Days will be held in Maucker Union Old Central Ballroom and Lobby. Students, Faculty and staff may attend the free activities including mini-massages, an opportunity to walk the labyrinth, and enjoy company of animals from the Humane Society.
5 UNI's Ashley Lerch crowned Ms. Wheelchair Iowa Ashley Lerch, program associate for UNI Student Disability Services, was crowned Ms. Wheelchair Iowa 2008 earlier this month in Iowa City.
