1 Sturgis Youth Theatre presents "Beauty and the Beast," July 17 through 20 The ninth-annual Summer Fun Production, "Beauty and the Beast," will feature a cast of 38 youth and 12 student-staff interns from the Cedar Valley as well as student production designers from UNI.
2 UNI welcomes entering freshmen Nearly 400 people took the next step in becoming Panther's by attending the First-Year Orientation & Registration two day sessions. The schedule included academic planning, on-campus meals, student-organization and student-service fairs, etc.
3 UNI, DMACC Ankeny campus to hold informational session on elementary education degree programs Representatives from the University will visit DMACC Ankeny to discuss B. A. degree programs through UNI's 2 + 2 Program for students who cannot relocate to the UNI campus. Attendees will learn about a degree in elementary education.
4 UNI's CEEE presents tour of practical backyards in Cedar Falls Families will be shown that their backyards are potentially productive places, full of fun and interesting projects that the whole family can be involved in. Examples include native prairies, pesticide-free lawns, and low-maintenance gardens.
