1 Register now for UNI workshop designed for middle managers: Enrollment deadline is Sept. 17 Registration is now open for the management workshop "Don't Get Caught in the Middle: How Middle Managers Effectively Deal with Bosses and Staff Members," hosted by the University Executive Development Center.
2 UNI Continuing and Distance Education to offer driver education endorsement courses Teachers may earn the Driver Education (7-12) Endorsement by completing nine semester hours of credit that includes coursework in accident prevention, drug, and alcohol abuse, vehicle safety, and behind-the-wheel driving.
3 UNI presents Constitution Day lecture Jules Lobel, J. D., vice president of the Center for Constitutional Rights and professor of law at the University of Pittsburg will speak in the John Deere Auditorium. A reception and book signing will follow the presentation.
4 UNI sends student teachers across the state for teaching experience More than 180 education majors will complete their student teaching experience during the fall semester. The purpose allows the student teacher to demonstrate resourcefulness and competence as a teacher in a real school setting.
