2 ISGC names finalists for new research project "This research project will build connections to NASA and its research activities, include multiple disciplines and may involve other ISGC affiliates," according to William Byrd, ISGC director. The proposals selected deal with satellite monitoring.
3 Should the drinking age be lowered? UNI will discuss Nov. 12 Participants will pair up and take turns presenting arguments on both sides of the issue. Katherine Van Wormer, will present the argument for lowering the drinking age.
4 UNI's CME to host political analyst Ronald Walters on results and impact of the 2008 election Walters is a Distinguished Leadership Scholar at the James MacGregor Burns Academy of Leadership, and professor of government and politics at the University of Maryland. He will speak about the results and impact of the 2008 presidential election.
