1 Luzerne native at UNI wins national scholarship Nate James, a manufacturing technology major, was recently awarded the David Laine Scholarship from the North American Die Casting Association. To win, James worked in the die casting industry for three months, at Ace Precision Castings in Marshalltown.
2 UNI School of Music to host guest lecturer Eric Saylor as part of Musically Speaking lecture series Saylor will present the lecture, "It's Not Lambkins Frisking at all: English Pastoral Music and the Great War." Saylor is assistant professor of music history at Drake University since 2003.
3 UNI works to restore Dry Run Creek at north end of campus We're converting this creek section back to a more natural state, which will improve water quality, increase the creek's holding capacity, and increase its biological function, making it safer, more aesthetically pleasing and natural, said Paul Meyerman.
