1 Expert on environmental links to cancer, reproductive health to speak at UNI April 6 Ecologist, author and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, will discuss her work on environmental links to cancer and reproductive health. Her "comprehensive insights into living with and on the Earth in the modern age can help all of us,'Zeman said.
2 Ingrid Mattson to speak on UNI's Hearst Lecture Series "Islam: An American Religion," will be the topic of the next lecture in the Meryl Norton Hearst Lecture Series. Mattson serves as director and professor of the Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations.
3 UNI representative to visit area high schools March 16-20 Kirk Pohlman for the Office of Admissions will be traveling to Iowa high schools to answer questions and visit with high school students about the opportunities a UNI education provides.

5 UNI students compete at National Collegiate Sales Competition Garrett Wirtz and Walter VanDeventer represented UNI at the Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. Only 50 universities in the U. S. were invited by recruiters of entry-level sales personnel to send two students to compete in live sales demostrations.
6 UNI's Pi Sigma Epsilon Chapter to compete in national convention Pi Sigma Epsilon Chapter - Epsilon Theta students will use contemporary professional skills and business knowledge to compete for awards including the Lewis F. Gordon Top Gold Chapter, and other. They will be accompanied by Matthew Bunker.
7 University of Northern Iowa to host National Educator Expo The Expo, helps school districts recruit new teachers and administrators; a free event and open to all certified educators seeking employment for the 2009-2010 school year. More than 50 school districts from Iowa and across the U. S. will attend.
