1 Alderman Scholar recipients announced at UNI The Alderman Scholars program was established in honor of Alderman's parents, A. Bruce Alderman and Gertrude Welty Alderman, both graduates of the college. These scholarships were established in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
2 UNI awards CSBS scholarships to incoming freshmen Seven SBS scholarships have been awarded to incoming freshmen. They are awarded on the basis of academic merit to entering freshmen who expect to major in one of the college's programs.
3 UNI Panther Pick Up' begins Thursday off-campus, May 6 on-campus This story replaces one of the same name sent earlier. The off-campus pick-up location was listed incorrectly and should be at West 22nd and Olive Streets in Cedar Falls.
4 UNI to host Fourth Annual Mini-Sumo Robotics Competition April 30 The Invitational will be held in the Hemisphere Lounge on the main level of the Maucker Student Union. During the competition, robots compete one-on-one to push each other out of the ring, similar to what happens between humans in sumo wrestling.
