1 Ingrid Mattson to discuss 'Islam: an American Religion' at UNI The Meryl Norton Hearst Lecture Series will take place in Davis Hall in the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Art Center.Mattson earned her Ph. D. in Islamic studies from the University of Chicago in 1999.
2 Register now for UNI workshop on building culture to maximize performance
Enrollment deadline is Sept. 25
"Building a Motivating Culture to Maximize Performance" participants will learn how to identify what is important to their employees, analyze and identify people-based and reward-based motivators, and develop recognition and reward processes.
3 UNI Community Visit Day in Cedar Valley Visit Day gives the university an opportunity to visit with Cedar Valley area residents about education, economic, cultural and social issues in the community and outreach programs at the College.
4 UNI to host international solar boat competition Solar Splash is hands-on educational experience that develops teamwork and interdisciplinary skills. The competitions will be held here in 2011, 2012, and 2013 at one of the lakes in George Wyth State Park. The competition began in Milwaukee in 1994.
