1 Nov. 11 history lecture to focus on letter condemning 18th century emperor Lou Fenech, professor of history, will present "The Epistle of Victory: A Persian Letter to the Mughal King AtB" in Seerley Hall. Fenech will focus on the histography of an 18th century letter written from the 10th Sikh Guru to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
2 Students at 11 community college sites earn UNI B. A. degrees from home communities Started in 1995, 2+2 is Iowa's longest running and largest distance education partnership between an Iowa public university and community colleges. This fall, 32 students from Des Moines Area campuses are working on a bachelor's degree.
3 UNI students honored for work on health promotion This past spring, the 27 students enrolled in the course competed for cash prizes sponsored by Group Benefits Design Corp. (GBD), a local employee benefits consulting company.
4 UNI's Chaplain receives lifetime membership in Professional Developers of Iowa Don Chaplain, senior program manager with the Institute for Decision Making (IDM), was presented the award by Randy Pilkington on behalf of all PDI past presidents, current board members, and membership. "He has excelled in all levels of the profession."
