1 Cyberbullying prevalent with college students According to Carolyn Hildebrandt, cyberbullying can be defined as any type of harassment or bullying such as teasing, telling lies, making fun of someone or making threatening comments that occurs through online communication tools.
2 Solar Olympics Thursday, May 6, at UNI CEEE Solar Olympics will be held for students from three area middle schools at the Center for Energy & Environmental Education.
3 UNI confers first Yager Exemplary Teaching and Learning Recognition Awards This year's recipients are: Jonnie Becker, Melissa Hesner, and Matt Robie. Awardees are selected on the basis of teaching materials and student performance. The award recognizes exemplary science and mathematics teaching by UNI graduates.
4 UNI forum on physical education reform brings national and international experts to Grundy Center The forum will feature experts in physical education and childhood obesity from around the world to discuss reform in health and physical education programs for K-12 students. List of domestic and international invited delegates.
5 UNI's Suzuki School to present spring concert May 16 The concert will feature group performances of students on violin, viola, cello, flute, guitar, and harp. Performers range in age from 3 to adult and represent a number of northeast Iowa communities.
