1 Register now for UNI workshop focused on managig negative people
Enrollment deadline is June 23
Participants in the workshop "How to Manage Nests of Negativity: Stop the Finger Pointing, Gossiping, and Complaining," will learn how to identify and confront employees who are never satisfied and who are vicious with their words and accusations.
2 UNI Adapted Sports Camp to be held June 16-19 According to Jack Eherenman, co-director of the Adapted Sports Camp, the camp is the only opportunity in the state for youth using wheelchairs to partake in competitive sports training.
3 UNI to be a stop on the R.I.D.E. for high school counselors R.I.D.E. stands for Rediscovering Iowa's Diverse Education. The program gives high school counselors the opportunity to learn about programs, facilities and college life at north central Iowa insitiutions.
4 UNI to hold 'Be Your Own Boss: Youth Entrepreneur Camp' for fifth and sixth graders "Students will learn the process of business evaluation and creation which will benefit them now and in the future," said Katherine Cota-Uyar, associate director of the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center.
