1 'Election 2010: What did it Mean?' to be held at UNI The Department of Political Science will host a forum discussing "Election 2010: What did it Mean?" in the Schindler Education Center Room 246.
2 Iowa's fugitive, Patrick Kuhse, returns to UNI The Wilson Series in Business Ethics will host "Iowa's Fugitive." Kuhse, an Iowa native and former financial planner and stockbroker in California, was involved in major illegal activities and eventually lived as a fugitive in the jungles of Costa Rica.
3 UNI honors nine with induction into School of HPELS' Hall of Excellence The following alumni will be inducted this year: Julayne Hoffmeier, Dwight Marston, Raymond Olson, Chuck Patten, Shellie Pfohl, Norman Rasmussen, Ronald Rice, Larry Rowedder, and Kenneth Witt.
4 UNI instructor teaches students strategies for forgiveness According to Suzanne Freedman, associate professor in educational psychology & foundations, the benefit of teaching forgiveness in school is that students will learn how to deal with their anger and resentment after being hurt.
5 UNI to host Multicultural Teacher's Reception All Waterloo and Cedar Falls teachers have been invited, along with teacher education faculty. The reception highlights the multicultural teaching practices of Cedar Falls and Waterloo teachers.
