1 The Blue Man Group concerts canceled, Gallagher-Blueborn working to reschedule. Three performances of the Blue Man Group have been canceled. The Gallagher-Bluedorn is working with Blue Man Group management to reschedule the performance dates.
2 UNI professor is expert on state supreme court issuses. Scott Peters researches state supreme court elections and the interaction between the courts and public opinion.
3 UNI workshops educate teachers in STEM fields. UNI strives to lead the state and nation in pre K-12 education. Each year, UNI partners with the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center to offer professional development workshops in science, engineering and mathematics workforce.
4 UNI's Center for Violence Prevention opens Jan. 28. Verizon Foundation will announce a $10,000 grant to support the center's programs. The program will include remarks from Ben Allen, Gloria Gibson, Chuck Grassley, Binnie LeHew and Alan Heisterkamp.
5 Water in GBPAC; Jan. 25 Blue Man Group covert cancelled. A sprinkler pipe located above the GBPAC Great Hall stage was damaged and burst causing water to affect the stage, show equipment and surrounding areas.
