1 'Pursuing Justice: Nuremburg's Legacy' exhibit, events commemorate trials' 65th anniversary The exhibit will focus on two sets of trials: the International Military Tribunal, Held Nov. 20, 1945, through Oct. 1, 1946, that tried the major Nazi war criminals, and 12 subsequent trials held Dec.9, 1946 through April 13, 1949.
2 Hearst Lecture Series speaker Courtney Martin finds a new generation of activists. Martin will talk about a new generation of Americans doing social justice work. Martin's lecture is based on her latest book, "Do it Anyway: The New Generation of Activists," in which she profiles eight young people doing grassroots social justice work.
3 Miller Hybrids, Inc., Kalona awarded $10,000 market research project at EntreFest! conference. Miller Hybrids is an independent seed company providing a unique offering of elite corn and alfalfa varieties coupled with a large research component. Led by owner and research director Bob Miller.
4 UNI film series promotes healthy and sustainable living Center for Energy and Enviromental Education, Recycling and Reuse Tech Transfer Center, and the Healthy Cedar Valley Coalition hope the film will bring students and community members to discuss issues facing society in regards to the environment.
