1 Alliant Energy awards UNI grant to increase K through 12 energy education. An Alliant Energy Bright Ideas grant will allow the University of Northern Iowa to continue its energy education outreach in Iowa K through 12 schools.
2 New artwork to be unveiled at Russell Hall concert. World-renowned artist Dale Chihuly designed the piece, entitled "Zephyr Blue Persian Set with Tangerine Lip Wraps." The piece is located in the William and Charlotte Hinson Lobby of Russell Hall.
3 UNI campus-wide scavenger hunt raises money for Alzheimer's disease. QUASH is a fundraising event where teams of two to four people compete in both physical and mental challenges to earn points and beat the clock.
4 UNI Gallery of Art of present three exhibitions in April and May. Featuring recent work and research by students and faculty.
5 UNI seeks proposals for nonprofit service projects The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance is requesting proposals for a one-year service partnership with a local nonprofit organization. The Alliance is dedicated to transforming today's students into tomorrow's nonprofit leaders.
6 UNI students to present blueprint for a sustainable society. A group of students will present a public forum at the CEEE with a poster session preceding the forum. The forum is part of a freshman seminar called "Visioning a Sustainable World in 2050."
