Two weeks ago about two dozen tornadoes hit mostly rural areas of Iowa, though an EF3 did hit the town of Mapleton. Students from Aplington/Parkersburg traveled to Mapleton to help in the cleanup; photo.

Darion Watson, Jacob Rudy, and Adam Haselhuhn, nominated by faculty, staff, and their peers, will receive the award during a Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony on April 29 and during commencement.
